MASS PRODUCE CRICKETS?

Is it possible to breed crickets (or mealworms) so you can save money? Also, what can you give them to eat so they live longer(crickets).Thanks

There are several nice sites about raising crickets. Just do a google or yahoo search. On one of the sites I read about using kitten chow that has been powdered in a blender. I added calcium supplement to mine and have been feeding them that for the last month.

Seems to work well for the adults and the baby crickets too. I see most people add several more components to their feed mix. I suggest reading several websites that have great information.

Mine get Purina Kitten Chow: 40% protein. Just switched to it about 3 weeks ago and I'm already noticing a difference.
