since i don't like that forum.......

i figured i'd throw my bad news up here. today i found out my littlest leo died. she was always kinda small compared to the others, but she stopped eating one day and never resumed. no matter what i tried feeding her. i figured since i like this board the best, i'd tell you guys(the appropriate board for this info would flame me up and down upon finding out she died, no matter the reason). but yeah, kinda a sad day, but i should have some new babies in the next 3 weeks, which is nice. i took my little one to a local pet store i trust, as i've no money for a vet right now, and they took good care of her in her final days....damn the circle of life!

That's the one drawback of forums. In our quest for what's best for our pets, we sometimes forget the human side of pet keeping. We keep our little friends because we love them. That love comes from the heart, and it's a shame that we sometimes forget how fragile that heart can be.
Truly sorry to hear about you little leo. I remember a couple of years back I lost a female leo that was a really stunner. Nice fat tail, vitamins and calcium ALWAYS at the ready for her, was gonna start breeding the next year, she was a yearling virgin. One day she simply died. NO reason, just expired, just like that. No impaction, no parasites, no smoking gun to point at and say AH HA!
Yes you're right. I shared my experience with this ONE forum. Man, I got FLAMED big time. To add insult to injury, I get accused of all sorts of things when I was feeling depressed about my loss.
So yes, I totally understand why you're sharing that info here. This forum has a very low flaming history. And yet is still populated by very knowledgeable keepers.
Again, my condolences for your loss.

It's always a sad thing when something dies, atleast for the people it leaves behind. I'm very sorry you lost her.

I don't think it is nice, or kind to make anyone feel any worse than they already do, when a pet dies.

Just learn everything you can, do your very best to give them everything they need to have a healthy happy existance in your care, LOVE them, and Enjoy them.

Best wishes with your babys that are soon to arrive

Be sure to let us know and post some baby pics for us!
