Im sorry that you feel this way, but some of these forums arent as busy as the kingsnake ones and such so you may not get any replays with a day. I think your best bet may be to let go the garter as it is wild caught and may be hard to start feeding. I think i good idea would be to go to a local reptile show or pet store and buy a corn snake and that would be a excellent starter snake, but first look up all the information you need before buying the snake. hope this was some help

With a minimal effort on your part, you could search the forum. The info has been posted before, you could take the time to look for it. Or, check out Scott Felzer's page (forum sponser), he's got a great care sheet.

You should also get a book and ID your snake (this will help determine what it needs) and ask specific questions about care once you have the basics from past posts and the mentioned caresheet.

This forum doesn't get a great deal of traffic and one would basically have to write a volume to answer your question, and since it's been asked and answered before...

care info is not as hard to find as a good forum.i would say let it go and get a captive breed.if not fold news paper to fit a fish tank ,keep fresh water ,and feed it earth worms, minnow or small gold fish from the pet shop.deworm it or take it to the vet.when it gets some size to it take a pinky mouse and sent the head with a worm or a fish, you can put a fish back in a tank for the next senting.feed babys every three days or so. good luck with the new addiction.

i just heat my hole house.or under tank heat pads small ones.most dont really need much cooling to breed.room temps are ok for them if not breeding.

I dunno, I just don't respond well to dingleberries who demand a response when they didn't even have the intelligence or energy to lift a finger themselves...

Most of us do a little reading when we're curious about something new - others of us demand others do the reading for us.
