I think my humidity guage is wrong, what do you think?

My guage sayst that I keep my humidity at a constant 65%-70% in my borneo's cage, but she ends up with dented eye caps and dented scales. What do you think?

she might be too humid...this more than a lack of humidity can cause scale dimpling..i wish i had the link to the artical i got that from! ive noticed it too, my bloods scales were always dimpled when she was in a highly humid cage...i now keep her general humidity at like 50 to 60% and provide her with a box full of moist moss, so shes humid when she wants and dries off now and then. constant high humidity can also cause uri's and stuff like that, but i dont think 70% would give you much ocncern in that area...i also use rubbermaids exclusively. never a missed meal, never a bad shed.

any questions you think i can answer feel free to post em or contact me
