can i have her back? lol! wassup! to be accurate thats a Lemke Line hog (or more accurate "mother nature" line hogs, my pair came from Lloyd in 95 and his group was probably w/c imports as he was an importer from back to the 70's) clay english calls them "orange phase" on redtail boas.com, he bought a pair from me. this female has had 6 litters and there is usally one female (always a female) with minimal speckling, i would bet thats a female you have...right? below is a picture of siblings to show the difference, most have the speckles as this male has but like i said there is usally one female in the group that is really clean. i would love to find some other people that have animals bought directly from Lloyd back in the 80's/90's, if you are out there please send me a message directly, thanks john yocum

I know they're from Lemke originally but with a half dozen litters or so under your belt I thought there might be others here or there that have gotten some from you and would've posted pics.

Oh...and it is the female in that pic...

That's probably the best looking Hog I have ever seen. Very beautiful animal. I would really like to get in touch with the breeder of that amazing animal. Are there anymore available? Have a good day.

PEACE,
Adam Botner

Adam, Thank you for the wonderful compliments. I'm sure John would want to thank you as well since he is the breeder. John (user name: cbreps) replied to this thread so you can contact him through this website or his kingsnake.com website directly, which is listed on the dealer page under Zoo-otics. Hogs are such amazing animals and have been popular for so long for many reasons...its breeders like John and Ed who should be thanked for continually providing such amazing animals for others to enjoy. I'm hoping to breed my pair from John in another year or two....but I'm in no hurry....I'll enjoy them either way.

That is a great hog. Probably worth over 1000 bucks, wish I could get one

carl3 Oct 13, 2005 06:07 PM

Actually, Hog Island boas are still reasonably priced. They have been steadily available over the years and continue to gain popularity as I'm sure you know. $1000 dollars? hmmm.... well.... whatever she's worth, she's priceless to me and I could never ever let her (or the male) go. I get so attached to each and every one of my snakes since I've cared for all of them since they were babies. I never buy adults....I take great pride in raising them up from babies.
