It wasn't an adult though, just a fuzzy, about the size of a large rat. Nonetheless, it was exciting because first the rabbit was thawed from being frozen, and second I did not have to scent it with a rat so my blood would eat it. I was afraid he wouldn't eat it because it wasn't a rat, but he ate it! It took about 30 minutes for him to successfully find the head. I tell you, snakes are in no way very intelligent. It was all very exciting to me so I thought I would share it.
A question to you blood keepers. About how long was your blood at 18 months? Mine's a little over 3.5 feet. He seems to be putting on length pretty fast for a male blood.
