Mexican Black Kings

I am really thinking about getting one of these. I posted a while ago and someone said that they have a very strong feeding response. Does this mean that they are great eaters or does it mean that when they are hungry you need a guantlet to pick them up? thanks again!

Very, very cool snakes and inquisitive. Feed well and I have not exprienced any biting problems ever, but that is only my experience.

I have three adult MBKs...all are good feeders...and like so many kingsnakes they love to be in their hides so the food is put in front of them and disappears. My experience with mine anyway...Helane

Of all subspecies. Great feeding, but so mellow. The most mellow of Kings, by far. Definitely one of the top 3 King choices for beginners.

Only one exception (there are always exceptions) I've ever known of, a WC specimen that was so wild that it had to be exchanged.

Some things cannot be caged...
