The XLG peek is about 5"
The LG Peek is about 3"

Personally, the "large" caves are the best (the one on the right of Joel's photo). ALL our beardies LOVE those.
Whether they're 5" long hatchlings, or 20" long adults, they all love the flat surface.
I find that the "Extra Large" ones are too rounded on top for ours, they end up slippin' off, lol.
