Granite?

Camlon Reptiles Oct 13, 2005 10:34 AM

I posted an image of the Pinstripe clutch hatching a couple of days ago and in that clutch we got this little male. The odd thing is mom looks very normal and dads a Pinstripe, so I'm wondering if anyone else has produced what appear to be Granites from normal appearing breeders. To bad we didn't get a Granite Pin now that would have been cool.

if so I'll just bring him to you, LOL.

The Belly looks clear and clean as you can see. The Granite we have that produced the Granite Mojave this season has what I call checker bordering on her belly. The Granites from the same clutch are pretty clear with minimal checker boarding. Another thing about this little guy is his aliens are odd looking too, similar to the Granite Mojave.

I have one male that appears to be a granite. Produced by breeding a male 100% het for albino purchased from you to a huge normal female.(3000 grams) The clutch at first seemed to be a disaster, 5.1 50% possible het for albino. However, 4 of the 5 males are ringers and the 5th is the granite looking male. I kept 2 of the ringers and the granite looking male. I plan on breeding the ringers back to mom this coming season.

a clutch of 100% Hets for Albino this season also that appear to be Granites. We've used the same female that doesn't appear to be a granite to produce them, and she's probably the female yours came from. We have used the same females for producing Albino hets because they were suppose to be 100% hets for Albino that after 3 years I think not.
