Banna Ball...question??

zefdin Oct 13, 2005 11:17 AM

I made this observation to myself the other day and I was waiting for someone else to mention it first but no one has.

Is it just me or has anyone else noticed this...

This Bannna Ball is really one of the most beautiful snakes I've ever seen.

Does it appear to have Blood Python features?

I have NO idea of the genetics of this snake and I do not want the owner of the snake to get mad at me, I just was wondering if anyone else noticed this?

With all the variations and genetic manipulation going on, I beleive the Ball Python trade needs a pedigree system simular to what the AKC does for dogs

See this Blood below...the coloration and pattern look similar to me.

The Banana Ball is from a ball python that was imported a few years ago and is in fact, is a ball python morph. It is not a Hybrid! It is Gorgeous and one of the best new morphs around!

If you are making the comparison to the Bannana Clown, I can see where you might find the patterns similar, but that is due to the Clown influence. The colors however I dont think are even close. The Bannana Clown looks like a toy you would turn over to see where the batteries go for that "glow in the dark" feature. The original Bannan Ball was a WC Female. You can searh this forum for pics of her and other normal Bannana offspring of visit Will's site BannanBall.com.

You are seeing pictures of a Banana Clown Ball Python, it is a cross between a Banana Ball and a Clown. But really I dont see anything that looks remotly similar.

an albino burmese and an albino ball look alot alike, but they dont have related genes. and you can trace lines like the akc. they arent importing new morphs of dogs from afica all the time.
and yes, the banana ball is very beautiful.
