timing is everything............

actually it helps a great deal that when you open up their boxes to not try and remove them immediately. they can be just too excited just then!! it's easier for all involved to wait for several minutes or even longer and go do something else in the room for awhile. this gives them time for that initial [feeding] adrenilin rush to subside and then after a bit they'll calm right down becoming mostly inquisitive. they start poking their heads out on their own and are now much easier to deal with in the long run w/out all the undue excitement saving alot of unnecessary wear & tear on both of you...........

I thinnk my babies come from your stock. I have a 1.1 Unicolor yearlings and .1 BT yearling. The group came from a Dr. McMurtry. Are those your stock?

Thanks for the suggestion, I will try that next time I take them out.
