Thinking about getting some Tegu's and wanted everyones input...

Hey guys. Some of you may know me from the monitor forums. I have four Blackthroat Monitors and I was thinking about getting into breeding some tegu's. I just wanted everyones input on them. Pictures would be good also. I was thinking about getting some Blue X red Hybrids. I do have a question though. I was wondering about hibernating. Is it absolutely neccesary that Tegus hibernate in order for them to breed? And how long of the year do they hibernate for? Well I would appreciate everyones input...Thanks...
