My two WTFs both have stopped climbing....They are both shedding quite alot and I havent changed their temps feeding time/diet and they just stopped climbing the walls and sticks. IMO they really want to stay in elevated areas because they climb this wood thing I put in the tank. When they do their legs are a bit floppy and weak and they seem to struggle climbing any altitudes. I was thinking maybe something was wrong with the calcium dust i use on crix but I dunno.... Anyone know of WTFs that just stopped climbing? And what should I do? Also they are pretty small and Ive had them for a year.... Are they supposed to grow really slow or what? Also one more thing. They do sleep and nap on the ground as if they are on the wall.

Hrmm might be MBD, can you post a picture? Weak limb's and small size are usually associated with this disease (are his limbs a little lumpy?) I dont think there is a cure for this but I have read otherwise.Exactly what size are they? What brand/how old is your Calcium dust and what are you feeding? Its normal for them to lay on the ground (mostly do this for moisture). By a year they should be close to full grown but could be small males. Like I said be more specific.

Mine do lose a bit of their climbing ability when they shead, maybe its just a growth spurt?

Or, I know some frogs will sheas layers of skin bfor they hibernate...any temp flucuations? too cold at night?

Or, MBD, Feel their jaws, if they feel soft and flexible (be careful) thats another sign.

....A vet could tell you for sure.
