A few photos

Damon Salceies Oct 14, 2005 03:31 PM

I was going through the collection last night, cleaning and preparing the critters for winter, and decided to take a few photos. Both of these animals recently shed.

This is a female I collected as a young adult east of Sanderson in July of 1993. It seems strange that it was that long ago.

I caught this female as a hatchling in May of 1993. She's from east of Sanderson as well.

actually, I like the pattern on the 2nd snake quite a bit . . . just couldn't resist the dig

Why not show some pix of those "secret" Glass snakes?

shows it in those photos, nice variable snakes. In the Sanderson area, morphs from Loma Alta to the Gap to the Huecos, it can produce almost all morphs, except the "brown" ones, LOL! I couldnt resist stating that Troy, J/T....

there is plenty of "brown" to be found in Sanderson snakes - it often occurs where the "orange" is supposed to be! LOL
