How big was the rattler compared to the king? The rattler looks thicker that's for sure.

Man, your snakes will just eat anything LOL. I on the other hand... There is a baby garter snake living with my adult regalis who has eaten baby garters probably 2 dozen times this year. lol.

You still never explained how that happened. I'm a fan of both easterns and california kings... easterns more... But am curious as to how that feeding occurred.

....first time in a jillion jpgs...ive seen a king munching another...so i guess they do it occasionally, but again the easterns appear to be more of the "ophio-generalist" than are the cali-types which select heavily towards smaller smooth scaled squamate prey. Beautiful black king shots all of them & I too have never seen one bigger than that one posted...

I love the bright white chains on that one Jetzen. Beautiful Eastern. Here's my biggest and baddest. 63 inch F1 nigrita. A rattle snake's worst nightmare.

No, I've never fed him any snakes. I'm sure it would be pretty brutal.

That has got to be the biggest MBK i've ever seen.
here's a 4 footer that i traded off last mar.

Thanks Jetzen. When I purchased my MBK, I asked John Cherry/Cherryville Farms if this was one of his larger nigrita, and he told me mine was a typical sized specimen for that bloodline.(llemke line) So if anyone wants huge nigrita, John has some huge bloodlines.
That one you have pictured looked like a brute. I know I've seen some feeding pics of MBK's in your collection. How many do you have now, after trading off that 4 footer?
