Problems with Baby corns

latin1956 Jul 21, 2003 07:52 AM

I just had some baby corn hatch out and some of them died after just being out about 15 minutes of the eggs and some of them had some kinks along the spine. Any information will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you
Tom

What temps did you incubate them at? What medium? Was the medium moist, wet, dry? Are the parents related?

I don't know why this happens, but I've seen deformities when folks incubate at too high of temps or too wet of a medium. Could also be a genetic link. Give more info, though hard to say why this sort of thing happens.
