From crickets to mealies

sardoniccheese Oct 16, 2005 01:42 AM

Hey I have a Male with 3 females in the same cage. How do you track them eating? Because I am switching from crickets to mealworms. The crickets are easy enough to track because well.. they dont hide and they get attacked as i put them in the cage. But only one of my geckos rushs to the mealworm dish, is there a way to coax them into eating the mealies?

Slowly let off of the crickets while making sure to show them the meallie dish...eventually they will get hungry enough that they will switch over. Make sure though that losing a few grams (4-5g) isn't going to hurt them before you do this.
