rottenweiler9 Oct 16, 2005 10:43 AM

Where do you guys put this. Do you put it on the bottom and ingrave it in or if I wanted to rope it around the inside on the sides how do you keep it from falling all the time.

Thank you

Jeff

It is most efficient if used under the boxes, meaning in routered grooves in the shelves, but you must use a thermostat. An effective way is to use the 1/4" deep by 1/4" wide aluminum channel. Cut a groove so the channel fits in the shelf across the back, then run the heat cable under the aluminum channel. Does a nice job of heating the aluminum which gently heats the box above. You will need a few channels each shelf if the boxes are big. That is why heat cable is fine for baby racks but alot of work in larger racks.
