Breeding Weight Question

NickRB Oct 16, 2005 11:31 AM

Hello Everyone,
-I was wondering the breeding weight a male should have? I have heard that females should be over 1000grams which my big girl definetly is. Any help would be apperciated. Thanks

I've had males successfully reproduce at around 300-350 grams. You can pretty much count on males getting the job completed at around 500 grams or so. Although 1000 grams for a female is a good place to start, I'm sure that some females may never see 1000 grams. Good luck.
