There are actually 2 schools of thought on this.
1. Euthanize every one of them you can find, removing a tiny % of the population.
2. Leave them alone. You and everyone you know could never eradicate enough of them to make one bit of difference. I, for one, don't kill stuff anymore.
Kind of like the Cuban Brown Anole. There is no stopping them. If they didn't stop them in Miami when they had a chance there is no stopping them now. Same with Bufo Marinus. Cane Toads are poisonous in all stages so that's another matter. they kill dogs, cats, and anything else that feeds upon them from Egg to adult.
Killing those two is only going to mean you have more bugs around your light.
