nice warm day - nice snake pictures

The rumors of my demise have been greatly exagerated. For a while I thought I was dead, then I realized I was just in Tennessee. My terrible cold and football season was nearly too much for me. I finally got 10 minutes to walk a few snakes and I snapped a couple of pictures while they were out in the sun. The first is Ruby a large plump Sumatran with a gorgeous black head. The next is Sampson an incredibly friendly blonde Borneo that I placed on dead grass for his picture. He is the most active and curious "blood" (yes, I know he is a short-tailed) in the world.

Man I love that black head on that red body, wish there were more like that out there. That short tail isn't too bad also.I thought you got out of bloods?,or am I mistaking you for someone else.

I thinned the herd quite a bit but I am ways from being out of bloods. I still have a few sort of lying around. I just didnt have the time/energy to take care of that many snakes. I have a bad habit of being a megalomaniac and wanting to own every nice snake I see. I am slowly learning that just isn't feasible.

My buddy Jody McKenty got out of bloods a little while back. Were you thinking of him?

Very nice animals. Glad you finally got a chance to enjoy them in your hectic schedule. I can certainly appreciate having a chaotic life.
