ive always wanted a snake but would never get one cause i couldnt feed them live mice..then when i was at the reptile show in tampa i found out they they will eat f/t rats..so here is my first snake ..im not sure of the sex but she is baby normal.
what do you think?...any sugestions/tips

Very nice! Looks like you got a real healthy one! Be sure to give it some time to adjust before you handle it too much. Feeding f/t to a stressed out BP can be a trick. Sometimes I put them under a heat lamp for a min so they warm up (not too much) and they will take them better.

How long did you wait for yours? I've wanted a pet python or boa constrictor for about 30 years. One thing or another has always kept me from making my move. I finally reached a point where I believe that the time is right. I bought a young ball python and a young adult California Kingsnake this weekend.

I'll post only one picture on this thread, but my cage setup is in my gallery.

i am also feeding f/t, both my corns eat f/t also. but this is what i have learned about my ball python, if i just lay a mouse in the feeding container he wont touch it, i have to hold it in front of him for him to take it, then he eats fine.
