It looks like I've made Smirnov very happy with his indoor home. It is 7 feet long and 2 1/2 feet wide. I've got 120 lbs of top soil/sand in it and he's already dug tunnels. I couldn't find him earlier but saw movement in the dirt. When it was his bedtime, I watch as he went in a hole and about 2 feet from the hole, I saw movement again. I guess that's his burrow spot. I've got some food items planted in containers that I'll rotate in and out as soon as they're up good. I've still got to add more rocks and such for him to climb around but I think he's very happy with the way it is now.
