The one specimen that I saw was rather drab. Do you guys know of any breeders with outstanding specimens? Any links to captive and wild information on these guys? I know this guy doesn't carry anti-vemon, and that these snakes arn't really considered dangerous, but is their anti-venom available?

FWC's are highly unlikely to cause any serious symptoms from even large specimens. Swelling, itchiness, and a burning sensation are all most people report from bites, if symptoms present at all. Great Valley Serpentarium has some great looking babies right now, I picked up a pair a few weeks back...they advertise in the KS classifieds, so check them out. Bill is a great guy and a pleasure to deal with.

There is no antivenom for Hydrodynastes, but like I said, it's not really warranted.

i cant help you whit purcasing hydros becourse i live ind denmark, but i can tell you that there are not any antivenom, the venom is similar to the venom of crotalus horridus but becourse the deliverysystem is pretty ineffective they dont deliver enogh venom to kill a man the symptems i have heard was lokal pain and swelling.
