i am soooo happy! guinness, my wc ball i got from the hamburg show finally took his first meal!i have had him for atleast six months and he wouldnt eat anything. i tried live, f/t, big ones small ones, everything i could. then saturday i had a fuzzy that my tegu wouldnt eat so just trying something i threw it in with him and he actually ate it. it was in there crawling around for about 2 hours, the first 1.5 hour i had him in the dark then about ten minutes after i turned his lights back on he ate it. i was soo happy! so, wanting to ruin a good thing. i went back and got 2 more hoppers on sunday and he ate them both. i know, he can eat much bigger prey items then this but he wont. i will get him eating bigger soon but im just gonna take it one step at a time. btw, these are fuzzy and hopper mice, not rats. he should be able to take adult mice and small rats. thats my next goal when do you guys think i should feed him next? i feed my other mouse-eaters every saturday. if i feed him every sat, how much and what size should i give him?
thanks for all you suggestions and help, it really paid off.

I would try feeding him several of the same size fuzzies every 5 days then try increasing the size.
Save yourself future headaches and don't buy imports!

Good luck with him.
