vine snakes

are vine snakes venom srong enough to hurt a human or is it simular to a hognose snake

With any rear fanged snake, allergic reactions are possible, and an allergy can start at anytime, so you can never be certain that you won't have a reaction. Vine snakes, and I am assuming your asking about Ahaetulla sp. or Oxybelis sp., have never had a reported fatality, although localized reactions do sometimes occur, such as swelling or burning. I keep both, and have been bitten, but never had a reaction. I think comparing them to hognose snakes is fair.
