Panther Chameleons at Rest (Attn: west)

SCREAMELEONS Oct 17, 2005 08:35 AM

Hey West,

We did not realize that somebody made a post on us. We have not had time to check the forums lately, but do come here every now and then. In the future, you may want to email us directly.

The photos of the panther chameleons that we post on Kingsnake and www.screameleons.com are taken at random. In some photos the panther chameleon is excited, while in others the panther chameleon is at rest. Below you will find a few of our panther chameleons at rest and unexcited. We have many more photos on www.screameleons.com that show the panther chameleon at both rest and fired-up. Carlton also made some excellent suggestions on where to look for more photos.

Obviously, at rest they are not as impressive. However, our collection is made up of screamers that look great all day long. This is just my humble opinion.

Thanks.

NICE pics. Great looking animals. It looks like a lot of those pics are of animals when they are sleeping. It was my understanding that when they are sleeping like that is when they will be at almost their brighest. Is this the case or no because those animals that look like they are sleeping are pretty darn bright. Pics of the animals during the day just hanging out in their cage without another animal in sight might be the best way to get calm colors. Great shots though.

Wow. You guys are a tough crowd to please! First they are too bright when they are fired up. Then they are too bright when they are fully rested! I guess we really do not have any bland chameleons at www.screameleons.com. They just look stunning 24/7!!

If you look at photos 1,6,7,8, those are photos of a panther chameleon awake during mid-day both indoors with flash and outdoors w/out flash. The flash tends to drown out the background, which makes it appear night like. As tbss stated, those will probably be a chameleon at its worst.

Thanks for the compliments, and I hope this illustrates the quality we are working with at www.screameleons.com. No camera tricks, special effects, blue paint or magical food required. I hope you all get a chance to visit our animals in person at one of our expos.

Thanks!

Green Tree Python. They are an Arboreal snake. Check put Greg Maxwell's site, Fine GTP's for some crazy pictures. Very cool especially if you are into arboreal animals like Chameleons.
