New Mosca Pic

purduecg Oct 17, 2005 11:44 AM

I grabbed this shot of Mosca over the weekend. It is a little blurry due to the flash, sunlight, and zoom, but I thought it was still worthy of posting. Mosca is now at least 8 inches long (probably longer) and about 14 months old. We are still working on his manners, but I have seen marked improvement in his temperment as I have had more time to spend with him. Admittedly though, if food is not part of the equation he is less than bored with my presence .

He will go in for his yearly checkup soon and I can see how much more he weighs now. Somehow I am thinking he weighs considerably more than the 35 grams he weighed a year ago. :-D

oh my look at that belly! i think one of his legs might be 35 grams i need to get a scale for my little one. i am going to guess he weighs more like 15-20 grams because my collareds, well some weigh 35 grams and he is not even close to being that heavy

Ya, he is quite a bit of a pig. Add that to the fact I had run out of greens and fed him some dethawed mixed vegetables the night before (a treat he rather enjoys), and his belly was in fine form. Somehow my lizards just seem to be plump, lol. Like "mother" like children I suppose, though I had no idea that saying applied to lizards. lol.
