New Reptile Magazine

In the November Reptile mag there is an article on Leopard Lizards. They talk about their voracous appetite and even have 1 paragraph detailing them eating Phrynosomas, most often babies,
of Platyrhinos and Coronatum species. Interesting.

Has been known for a long time, since they are mostly found in Desert terrain they probably are known to go after the Desert HOrned lizards, but I think they would eat any horned lizard small enough with small enopugh spines to devour. Obviously they are lizard eaters.........There are other Collared lizards as well. Vetigium are lizard eaters.......

That is very interesting! i'll have to bring that up with a beardie breeder friend of mine.

I was always interested in those Shrikes that hunt the HL's... i dont know if that is everywhere but those birds always fasinated me a bit. Kinda how i first found out about HL's lol
They look a bit like our kingfishers...so i found that really neat. I think the show i saw was on discovery.

You may still get some through Desert Reptiles, he had some captive borns awhile back, and I think MArc Lucas had some as well. YOu might check on the Collared Forum as well and ask the question.....Cheers!!
