hi everyone, i am a future beaded dragon owner with a question about water. What are the primary sources of water for the dragons? I also keep uromastyx and they get all their water from the greens they eat, are dragon similar? thanks!

Most beardies will not drink from a water bowl, but some will. Bearded dragons are from a desert climate and their wild cousins get their moisture from greens and insects. However, one of my three dragons will eagerly drink or lap up water from a water bowl. Also, having a water source is a good idea as a way to cool off if the dragon gets too hot, or some just like to play or poop in it.

yep, same deal. i give my beardie a bath every 3-4 days. if shes thirsty, shell drink then- but she almost never does. no need for an h2o dish or anything fancy. just fresh, crisp greenery!
