we are going to try silkworms for Roan. He's about 6-7 monthes old. How many is a good number to buy, and is there a care sheet available on them? I did a search for one, but couldn't find one. Do you just put them in your fridge?

You can buy as many as you want and can feed as they eat non stop and the chow for them is expensive.
They do come with a care sheet if ordered from www.mulberryfarms.com.
YOu can keep eggs in the fridge to delay hatching but you can't keep the actual silkies in there. They have to be kept warm.
I have a bunch right now of various sizes. So, if you need some, I'm the guy to talk to!
