I love it and hope to build one similiar when my baby gets bigger...Only Q is how hard is it to clean? Im guessing you have to bend over and just about crawl into it to get the corners.Of course being a noobie I am not sure how often you would need to get in and clean that thoroughly.

mine is all lined with showerboard so it is easy to clean, and i fit in it pretty easily

the top one would be perfect for my boa too.Looks like a shelf could be added....SOOOO how much did both those cost you to build?

Thankscc

120 in materials for the top one
190 for the bottom, plus a lot of hours worked lol.
that bottom one is heavy as hell and my wife and i had to move it ourselves in from the garage lol

it is not melamine it is hardoard, kinda like peg board without the holes. 15 bucks a sheet, same price for shower liner. its thin but with a good frame there is no worries

Hey just a question, what did you use as a frame? I need to build a cage for my tegu, but I've never built anything before (other than a chessboard in wood shop) and I guess I'm basically making a 6' box with a door. Any help would be appreciated Thanks!
