male/female wresting

prettypoison Oct 18, 2005 02:21 PM

Hey guys,
I was just curious whether or not males and female frogs will wrestle with each other. I have a male tinc that i have just introduced a supposed female to and they immediatly began fighting. Im no good at telling females so maybe its a male, the toepads are not as close to as large as the pads on my male, but still not the same size as "her" back foot toe pads. Anyone have any input on this? Thanks. Anthony.

One of my female imitators jumped the bones of a newly introduced male. She chased him all over for a couple of days before they settled down. I don't know if this happens with tincs as well, but it might just be their way of getting acquainted by testing each other out.
