I know that some normals do have these traits as well, but has anyone had a poss. het pied with marker traits that has proved out to be a normal? Thanks,

From what I have seen on this forum alot of people buy poss het pieds with "markers" and go try to prove them out, then you never hear from them again, probably because they proved to be 100% het for normal, which is okay , I personally like normals and no one can ever have too many normals,
thanks

Both the poss hets we proved this year had the marker, not as extreme as some I've seem but they had a little striping with a pretty clean belly. Every single het pied we produced this year(25-30) also had it.

I produced 20 het pieds last season and all 20 had the genetic marker. On the flip side, I`m sure there are normals out there with the same physical characteristics as the het pieds. Best wishes, Mark Petros BallPython777.com
