candb Oct 18, 2005 07:58 PM

How come nobody post anything about mexican milks?, they are some of the most amazing milks i have ever seen. I am getting one this sunday hopefully at a repticon show. I hope they have one. Does anyone on here have any?, i know i have seen one or two people post about them. Ill post some pictures sunday night.

I've had some people say it's indeed a Jalisco (as advertised on his deli cup).

Others swear he's a Mexican.

Either way, he's gorgeous and definitely worth way more than the $20 I paid!!! Also, he eats!

These pics don't do justice to the gold color of his bands (not white). They are deeper. The flash washed them out...

Enjoy...

An 05 male from Jim Keenan at Homegrown herps. Very laid back milk, and an aggressive feeder on rodents. I agree with you. Annulata are outstanding snakes. One of my favorites.

Beautiful specimen, Steve!

I agree, they really are gorgeous snakes!

I was looking for an Apricot Pueblan, then saw my guy marked at only $20. My son was interested in him, but he pooped on him, so while my wife was taking him to the bathroom, I bought the pooper! Then my son picked out a Christmas Grey Banded King Snake for himself... now from zero to 3 snakes in only 2 weeks! (We're done now... lol)

Here's the grey-banded... and one pic of my daughter's Corn Snake.

Seeing that wilma is gonna hit the east coast of florida as a 2 or 3, i may not be going to the repticon show in melbuorne where i was hoping to get the milk. It sucks cause i live in indian river county and they say its gonna hit there after it crosses the state, but all who live on the west coast I give my best to, good luck.

Mexican Milk

Wonderfully small size yet fully able to eat pinks as hatchlings, mellow personality (for a milksnake) and very undemanding care requirements make Mexican milks a great snake to keep.
