in southwestern FL for at least 5 years-- probably longer. They are now found both in the mangroves and on highlands. A eradication program is being formulated now. cheers/Dick

They oughta see if they can "overcollect" them for the pet trade. We'd prove once and for all that a lizard species cannot be overcollected for the pet trade. It is a fallacy that needs eradication just as much as the niles.
