Aging Crocodiles

Mara43 Oct 18, 2005 09:04 PM

I'd like to ask a few questions I've been having trouble finding answers to with just research. Do crocodiles as they get much older (fifty plus) slow down and have slower reflexes or are they always fast on their feet? Do they tend to become even a little bit docile when they're getting up in years? Also wondering --and I realize this is a weird question--can a crocodile be overweight? If they're in captivity, can they get fat? I don't have a pet crocodile, myself. I'm just curious. Thanks.
