cage size for ball python

one of mmy ball pythons is getting pretty big. im making a cage for him .its about 5 ft high,4 ft long, and 4 ft wide. is this big enough?does anybody have any pics of there cages? if so could you please post them so i could get an idea for mine. thanks

quick answer, yes that's plenty big enough. I keep my large adults in the 41 qt sterelite storage containers and my smaller adults in 32 quart's. They all have plenty of room. The main thing you have to consider is being able to create the heat gradiant (hot side/cool side). Some people keep their animals without a hot/cool side with no adverse effects but temps must maintain in the mid to high 80's. Good luck with the cage and post pics when you get finished with it.

1 ft high x 4 ft long x 2 ft deep would be plenty big

Pitts are very nice looking dogs, and dont deserve a bad rap, its the owners that deserve the bad rap
