That's it ! - I give up !...

Hi all,

After going through many iterations of various designs for a new enclosure for my burm I've finally settled on the simplest. Instead of making a cool design that would fit nicely into a corner of the room, I'm going back to the old straight floorplan of an 8ft long enclosure, 3ft deep and 18in high.

I did this because it will wind up being the least expensive, and more importantly, it will accomodate my plans to stack other enclosures on top of it easily.

Here's the whole setup I plan to make (with my burm's enclosure being on the bottom):

This is just the easiest way to do it, and it should give him a good size apartment to live in for good while yet to come. By the time he outgrows this one I plan to be able to give him an entire room sized enclosure (now THAT will be nice!).

Thanks for all the comments/suggestions up to this point & feel free to post any other ideas you might have still.

Thanks,
- Mark

LOL, I guess sometimes simple is best. Although I liked your plan, it probably would have been a little on the expensive side to do it that way. Ah heck with it, give him his own room, like you said

After looking at your sites and being a web developer myself, you just confirmed what I suspected! You are a true artist! And as such, never satisfied with your plans.

As a web developer, I know that I have no talent in that area what so ever and thank Macromedia for Fireworks and Adobe for Photoshop so that I can look like I am at least trying!

All your plans look great! Good luck with it!

I heart that idea.

I might just have to steal it >:P

But Im thinkin that a two-level cage would be neat for the middle and bottom cages. UHm.. Yah know.. like cut a good sized hole so that the two big cages are one big one. If 'da snakie wants to go upstairs he can go upstairs for a cooler place to hide. And then go back downstairs to get a drink or whatever.

Anyhow. Nice job! Cant want to see the finished product.
