I'm a moron but what do people mean when they talk about a breeding loan? Thanks in advance.

One breeder loans a snake(s) to another for breeding purposes. Oftentimes this is done with one person "studding out" a male to someone with females, but it can go either way. The babies are usually divided up in a fair manner.

Wouldn't it have to go BOTH ways? In order for one person to provide the male, another would HAVE to provide the females. It's just a matter of where they're housed. Just semantics, I guess...

sometimes people refer to breeding loans as a loan in the form of money they recieve to fund a breeding project.
