Grumpy Giant malagasy hognose

I got one a few months ago.... it's a wild caught about two years old.

It's still real jumpy, and flinches from any movement I make.

Are these just no-touch-'em snakes? Or do they respond to taming? If it would do better just being left on its own, I'm happy to oblige it.... however, it it would calm down with handeling, I'll gladly put in the hours.

Any experienced peeps with opinions?

in my opinion all rear fanged snakes are fore eyes only.
but non of my 2.2 leioheterodon are aggressive in any way they hiss and act tuff but they have never stricked at my.
but to be sure im wearing gloves when ever i handle them.
