Orange and Tomato are really acidic. My BDs wont eat them, so i would assume a veil wouldnt eat them either. YOu can try the melon and the carrot, but what i would try first is collard, mustard, or a FEW dandilion greens. You can also put a hibiscus in the cage, which is what i did. George is very happy with his hibiscus, he eats the flowers and the leaves.

Hope that helps,
Jamie

I think those are all fine. Meaty fruits like pears, apircots, apple too. Some like cucumber and squash. Also try leafy greens or flowers like hybiscus and nasturtium. You can clip a spray of greens to the cage screen near a perch.

i think it is high in calcium which would be good. JK

Kale is safe, I feed it to my insects before feeding them to my other lizards (they wont eat veggies on their own).
It has a high calcium content along with turnip greens.
However, the very very best by a long shot are Collard Greens

stick to collard greens-kale supoosedly inhibits absorbtion of calcium-my veiled's also liked melon and banana's on occasion-an occasional pinkie for females is also good for calcium-
