I gave up trying to reach him months ago. I could have swore I saw him run an ad on the classifieds a month or two ago but I do not know anyone who has heard from him in a long while.

Word was at the North Bay Reptile Bazaar in September that he just simply decided to get out of the business. He had a pretty high maintenance collection...very nice high end stuff. I was lucky enough to visit him twice and see his collection and go rattlesnake/zonata hunting with him once up in Lake County. I hope he's okay also, haven't been in touch with him...but I suspect he just got (temporarily we hope..) burned out.
