sounds like a respiratory infection, and he isnt hissing he is wheezing, take it to a VET and get a cage for it now

Sounds like his basking spot needs to be a higher temperature. Make sure the rest of the cage doesn't get too hot.
I had a monitor with the clear stuff coming from its nose. Not long after I raised the basking spot it cleared up and he was just fine. I am not sure how long yours has had the problem. Mine only had it for a very short period of time before I raised the temperature.

Ed!! Do you remember that female blackthroat you sold me a 2 1/2-3 months ago? Well, unfortunately about 2 weeks after I had recieved her, she had found a VERY small hole in the cage and gotten out. Well she was gone for 2 months and I just found her yesterday! I was so happy. The hole is sealed up and shes doing great now. Shes back in the cage with my male and they've been getting along great. They always have to do everything together. Sleep, basking, eat. Getting along great. I hope I get something good out of this!

WOW, you are so lucky. I am glad that you found her. Was she still in your house? I am glad to hear they are getting along better than they did when you first got her. Let me know if they ever breed, I would love to get one of the babys.

OH BTW, I sent you an e-mail about 30 minutes ago.
