happysurgeman Oct 20, 2005 08:49 PM

i just recently bought a 05' Het Albino female and it was getting here (Miami)Through Delta from Chicago after stopping in Atlanta. It was supposed to get here at 3pm its 9:50p now and still no snake. The flight arrived at 3 but with no snake. an hour later another flight no snake and so on and so on. It supposedly made it to Atlanta but from chicago but Every hour another flight arrives from Atlanta without my snake.

Is it as good as dead/lost has this happend to any of you guys? if so how often.

This is my first time having an animal shipped to me. And it has not been an enjoyable experience.

This sometimes happens and if it's packed well you shouldn't have to worry.

Best of luck!

It happens from time to time. Seems like the Delta office in Atlanta screws up a lot. It happened to me a couple of months ago with a mojave female. She was M.I.A. for nearly 3 days. When she finally arrived she looked like she was just shipped that morning.

I would just stay on top of Delta as much as possible. And make sure you contact the person you bought the snake from and let them know about the situation.

Good Luck,

Sorry, but this is EXACTLY the reason why I prefer Fedex, UPS, and DHL. At least I can have it shipped to their location and then go pick it up first thing when they open. I haven't had any problems YET.

I haven't figured out yet why I would want to pay more to sit around an airport for hours stressed out because of a missing/delayed package and just a gerneral waste of my time.

Sorry. Just My Thoughts.

You should get the tracking number from the shipper so you can track where the package was last seen.
