Bored at work

mbgirl17 Oct 21, 2005 08:18 AM

Hey everyone I was bored at work and decided to draw a pic of an Ambilobe ... Please critique if you would like to or even if you dont like the pic! Iam an art major at school and any help or critiques would be great! Oh and the one pic is of my baby, Fonzy eating a yummy mealworm!
Thanks!
Steph

Great work.

I think the tail is too thick though.

The only thing that I might point out from an anatomical standpoint is that the crest does not appear to be attached to the base of the skull, so it almost looks like the crest would stick up, as in a veiled chameleon. Maybe this was the intention, maybe you took some 'artistic liberties', I don't know.
Bottom line, this is a LOT better than anything I could draw. Just wondering if this was based on a picture and if you plan to color it in.
Very nice work. I like it!

Thank you very much... And yes I guess it does look like its not attached, like I said I was bored and not paying much attention like I do in my art classes... I drew it off a chameleon from Chameleon Paradise, im not sure which one it was i'd have to look through. I don't intend to color it in, if it was a pastel work I would, however i'am not so good at color penciling.. hehe.
Thanks again!!

Hey,

Wow!!! That is a great drawing. I can't draw anything 1/10th as good as that. You are really talented at drawing. I hope to see some other pics that you drew of chams sometime...
