Cage carpet too small? Can't she buy two or three?
Besides, it works best when cut into squares, like tiles, that way if one gets soiled, it can be removed, replaced by a clean one, and in the meantime, be washed/cleaned/sterilized.

You're talking about the fake-grass-looking thing right?
I've seen it at Home Depot, they got huge rolls you can cut.

That cage is barely big enough for a 6 foot (!) iguana. Immagine living in a closet as tall and as long as you are, and half your size in width. See what I mean? If possible, and whenever possible, tell her she should upgrade it.
An iguana that size needs AT LEAST a foot or two (preferably two) in length and height, and an extra foot if possible in depth.
A 6-footer iguana should be in a 8x8x4 (5 if possible) enclosure. That is a big animal! Can she give u a picture to post here? Must be quite a sight!

she keeps it in the cage during the day until she gets home. its a free range iguana. she doesn't mistreat it. n/m its not what you're talking about. im looking for "cage carpet" not astroturf.

I don't care for the carpet very much because though it is washable it tends to loosen up and igs can get their nails snagged on it. It has been known to cause damage to digits, especially to iglets. I would recommend the linoleum square tiles you can get at lowe's or Home Depot. They stick onto any hard surface and you can cut them to size. They are easy to clean up and can be cheaply replaced. My hubby built a false floor in my big boy's room using plywood and layered the top with the tiles. I keep newspapers over the tiles for easier clean up if my baby has an accident. Usually I take him to the tub though. JN

My point exactly.
But hey, if it's that stuff you want, Zoomed has it, as well as this place: http://www.thatpetplace.com/Products/KW/R01/Class/Reptile Supplies Bedding/T1/R01 0495 0105/EDP/4467/Itemdy00.aspx

You don't have to use a huge one to cover the whole area. It is more efficient and clean-up-friendly to use it in cut-out squares.

p.s. I never said or asked if she mistreated the animal.
