a second egg just hatched and the little guy was out and about, but when I went to pick him up I saw he was still attached to a placenta looking red blob. I let him be and now he's back in his egg where I can't see him. I'm used to the usual egg goo oozing all over the place, but this red blob has me worried. Could it be an undeveloped twin? Could it be attached -- more than just stuck -- to the otherwise healthy looking hatchling and be a real problem? If anyone has experienced this before, please calm my nerves. I'm having an all-too-eventful egg laying season this year. thanx
