Hypoboa1 Oct 21, 2005 07:04 PM

It's my own fault,I just been so stressed out this season with worring about where to come up with money for this an for that an Cammie in an out of the hospital, that I pulled my male to fast,I reckin?I seen a huge ovulation swell an it went down an she went into shed an started to swell again an shed out, started my count an watched her swell an at day 37 she went into shed again,She only ate a large every 2 weeks but she shed out yesterday an the lump has totally disappeared today,no swelling at all,So I am assuming she absorbed them,Oh well mabe next season will be better!Well good luck to everyone else this season an here are a few pic's of last years babies,at least I was blessed with one litter! Thanks Eric[Hypoboa]

I'm just wondering why you pulled him out. It sounds like she was giving you the "I'm gravid" signs, but there's no need to rush him out either. I've seen my share of ovulations, and can say with fair certainty that the male is done, but I still let him stay with her for another 2-3 weeks just to see that he definitely has no interest. Also, I'd still watch her, I've heard of instances that the female "didn't take", later to find that she wasn't showing, and ended up producing an unexpected pile o' babies.

What really ic confusing me is she has ate every 2 weeks like clock work an has not used the bathroom as far an #2 goes,She urates like a pregnant female an is holding her food intake like one but the huge swelling disappeared completely? If she did absorb them then she would poop right? An yes last year I left the male in for 2 or 3 weeks after the shed to make sure also!Like I said,I screwed up!Just so much going on an havent been thinking straight at all!Man she had a huge ovulation swell it was bigger than last years,I thought for sure the job was done!Oh well like you said time will tell! Thanks Everyone!Eric [Hypoboa]
