I have an adult pair M(argus/flavi) and F(flavi/goudi). They have been together for 7 months. Two months ago, she laid eggs but I didn't have a nest box and the eggs were ruined. She has a nest box now. Here is the odd behavior:
-Sleeps in water bowl, 3 times a week
-hids all day
-Is very very fussy, hisses a lot, even towards her partner
-getting fat

Any thoughts......

i got a pair argus/flavi i put them together a few months back my monitors are doing the same thing i have not got any eggs from her she sleeps in her water all the time and hides in logs she comes out some times on there rock, i seen them mate manny of times and i got pic's of it but not all the times they connected i don't no what kind of behavior this is also my F diggs a lot and she trys to stay away from my male cause he always trys to mate do you got pic's of them?

The behavior I see now is new. She wouldn't do it before. She started doing it about 1 week ago. I haven't seen them mate but one time, and even then I'm not sure they were: they were hiding. She does seem to be getting larger in the belly area. I don't have any new pics, no camera. I'll try to get one soon.
Let me know any new developments.
